Peppered Steak with Blackberry Sauce 

Steak Sauce Recipe Ingredients

 * 1/3 cup lemon juice
 * 1/3 cup Crisco® Vegetable Oil
 * 1/4 cup hacked onion
 * 2 cloves garlic, minced
 * 4 (4 ounce) meat tenderloin or eye of round steaks, cut back of excess
 * Salt and coarsely ground dark pepper
 * Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
 * 1/2 cup Smucker's® Seedless Blackberry Jam
 * 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
 * 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
 * 1/4 cup new or defrosted frozen blackberries

  Steak Sauce Recipe Instructions

 1. Blend lemon juice, oil, onion and garlic in huge re-sealable plastic sack. Place steaks in marinade. Seal sack and refrigerate 6 to 24 hours, turning pack infrequently. Whenever prepared to cook, season steaks with salt and coarsely ground pepper. Dispose of marinade.
 2. Shower barbecue rack with no-stick cooking splash. Heat barbecue.
 3. Cook jam, vinegar and onion powder in little pan over medium hotness until jam is liquefied, mixing continually. Eliminate from heat.
 4. Put steaks on pre-arranged barbecue. Cook 8 to 12 minutes or until wanted doneness, turning once partially through cooking time. To serve, top steaks with blackberry sauce. Sprinkle with new blackberries.. Cool. Partake in the Peppered Steak with Blackberry Sauce plans !!!
