Sauce Bordelaise for steak

Fixings:

2 tbsp hacked shallots
180 ml Burgundy wine
1 inlet leaf
1 pinch(es) thyme
250 g mushrooms, cut
2 tbsp spread
1 ½ tbsp flour
240 ml meat stock

Directions:

Finely hack shallots and spot in a skillet. Add wine, sound leaf and thyme and cook on a stew until wine is diminished to around 60ml.

In another skillet, sauté mushrooms in spread and mix in flour. Add stock and cook and mix until combination bubbles completely and is clear and thick. Add wine combination and eliminate the sound leaf. Stew for 5 additional minutes. Partake in the steak !
